From Uruguay to Adelaide

We’re Sharon and Pablo, a couple from Uruguay who call Adelaide home. Pablo brings years of experience as a chef, while I (Sharon) specialise in Design and Marketing. Together, we share a deep passion for food and South American flavours.

In 2020, two years after moving to Adelaide, we decided it was time to share the sweet taste of South America with our new community. Determined to create something unique, we spent countless hours perfecting recipes until Opa Alfajores was born.

“Opa” means “Wow!” in Spanish, and that’s exactly how you’ll feel when one of our alfajores melts in your mouth. Each biscuit sandwich is filled with creamy Dulce de Leche, made fresh with premium local ingredients to bring you an authentic taste of South America.
